Cancer could care less who you are.
Cancer could care less if you have money or if you have none.
Cancer could care less if you have health insurance or not.
Cancer could care less if you’re in the prime of your life, or if you’ve lived a good, long life.
Cancer could care less if you’re a child, with all the great things life has to offer, ahead of you.
Cancer could care less what you do for a living.
Cancer could care less if it breaks up families and leaves loved ones with broken hearts and loss.
Cancer has no boundaries.
It’s up to us to care.

Al, it’s tough, it’s painful and it just plain hurts! We are all fortunate to have you in our lives, your prayers, support and love are a gift and we thank you for your continued love and support!
So many friends come here to check in from time to time and we all come for one reason, we know we have love here, support here and prayers….
Laurie, thank you for continuing this wonderful garden!

And we do care. We care alot for our loved ones, family members, friends and acquaintances as we make life’s journey. Caring is endless because cancer seems to be an epidemic. When someone gets some good news…NED has come to visit, the tumor is shrinking, no evidence of further spread, etc….someone else gets some bad news…..the spot on your lung is cancer, it has spread to your liver, the treatment doesn’t seem to be working. In my circle of family, friends and acquaintances, the news is mostly grim with some rays of sunshine. A man at our church was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 months ago. He is now deceased. A friend who has melanoma, Stage IV, and has fought the beast for several years after it had spread to her brain and to some organs. She had mostly beaten the beast into submission as hard as that seems. But now it is in her small intestine and surgery is planned for the end of the month. Her brief respite is now over…back into the fight she goes. Caring and praying are the orders of the day! It is what I do and I will not cease. It would be nice to see some rays of sunshine so that the patients and their caregivers and families could get a breather.
