It’s hard to imagine that Thanksgiving is tomorrow….where did this year go?
I know this begins the season of emotions and memories that give so many of us difficult times. Long after the table has been cleared, the dishes are washed and the leftovers tucked away to chill, we think about the missing faces that should have been there to celebrate with us. We heard their laughter, we heard their voices; they echo up from our hearts now.
I have a wonderful piece of art in my home that speaks to me when these gatherings take place….
” Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” “The human spirit needs to accomplish, to achieve, to triumph to be happy.”
Thanksgiving has many meanings….
I wish this “giving” community a peaceful and happy holiday….
With thanks from me, for being here.
