It just shouldn’t be….no one who has barely a year of life, who hasn’t even scratched the surface of the world around them, should be facing this disease.
It way too big a challenge to take on for a little body. The heart and mind are so anxious to discover all the good things life has to offer. There’s ice cream to taste and mashed peas to push away and Mom and Dad’s hugs to return. There are first steps to be perfected and a big voice to be tested. There’s no place for chemotherapy in this mix.
Mully, we’re thinking of this little one and sending all the strong, healing prayers to this family.
Cancer is so cruel to children.
