Some one asked me today “What’s the worst cancer?”
How do you answer a question like that?
The first thought that came into my head was to say “The one YOU have.” But I was afraid that would have sounded too abrupt.
So I thought twice and measured my words.
I mentioned a few of the toughest cancers to treat and what makes them that way and then I said, “Of course, if you’re talking to a cancer patient, they will say the cancer they’re fighting is the worst cancer.” And they would be correct.
What the question really says to me is that there are people out there who still haven’t been touched by cancer. Who else would ask that question?
And good for them. We should ALL be so lucky.
