I send this out to a special friend tonight who made a call to hospice this afternoon. The man who has been at her side for a life time is slipping away.
The cancer is moving, touching vital organs that can not survive this final assault.
This is the time when HOPE shifts, as it does throughout the battle with cancer. HOPE is fluid in this world.
Tonight, the HOPE is that this man is at peace. The HOPE is that he is not in pain.
I know he is loved. I know his loved ones are with him.
I know how lucky I am to call him a friend. I hope he knows I’m sending my prayers too.

My prayers are with you and your friend, who I know is dealing with a lot right now. May he continue to fight and get strength, courage and wisdom from the support of his family and friends. I hope everything will go according to the plans from the MAN above. Cheers!

It bears repeating, “hospice is not about dying, it’s about living.”

Having witnessed hospice nurses minister to the dying gives me peace and Hope to know that Angels walk this earth. I pray for Peace for those who are entering this time of their lives. I also pray for the families who will walk with them until they are truly at Peace. Blessings to all….

I,m sorry to hear of another person going through this. I had a long drive today and was thinking back to the last days…another beautiful spring our loved ones will not see. Prayers for you and your friend and the family.

My son,46, will soon enter hospice. He is moving toward peace. He is and always will be lioved. His hope for years of cancer-free life will not be realized. Now we hope he passes gently, without pain and in a short time. Hope sometimes hurts.
